cream tea in the park

We have always enjoyed a good tea party. After Yvette visited her homeland and our grandmother, brother and family in London, she discovered a new, delicious type of tea, cream tea!

This afternoon tea delight includes tea (of course) and scones. THEN you top the scone with clotted cream and jam. Or is it jam then clotted cream? Aside from the controversy in the UK of which comes first, either way is delicious!

After light discussion at February's Dinner Club gathering, we decided to have a Cream Tea Party in the park for our March gathering. It was a success! Our friends and family gathered at Encanto Park and we got our tea party on!

Friends enjoying a fun game of...I don't know what that is.

Cream tea party!!!

Have a tea party! It's fun and makes you feel fancy!

yoga in the park

The awesome Lululemon hosts free yoga classes at the Biltmore Fashion Park every Sunday at 10:30am, and we love them for doing it! We get there early and grab a cup of coffee at either Starbucks, Paradise Bakery or Royal Coffee. Sometimes its hard to choose. The few minutes we have with our coffee outside sitting in the grass is bliss.

Each week is taught by a different instructor. It's a great way for various yoga studios to get there names out there.

There is nothing better then practicing yoga outside. This is something everyone should experience. It is extremely relaxing and makes you feel ALIVE!

Namaste....

A great pic from Lululemon's Facebook page.

We encourage everone to go check it out and get your yoga on! Hey, it's FREE!

tour de fat!

We have been pretty busy riding bikes, getting coffee.....working and what not.  We finally made time to post some pix of Tour De Fat that came to Tempe Beach Park on October 5th.  It is this awesome festival where tons of bikers come together and cruise Tempe in costume.  We had so. much. fun.  There was lots of beer and neat activities going on.  We ended our ride with the most perfect picnic =)    Enjoy!  xoOOxXoXo
